BIO NOTES
Dr. Elizabeth Murey is a lecturer at Moi University in the department of Sociology, Psychology and Anthropology. She holds a Master of Development Studies degree and a doctorate degree in Development Studies from Moi University. Dr. Elizabeth has for the last 13 years been involved in teaching at the university. She has also been working with rural and urban vulnerable groups and communities in areas of HIV/AIDS, Research, Poverty, Social Rehabilitation, Child Protection, Culture and Health, Gender and Sexuality and Gender Based Violence. Her competencies and key skills are on Research, Mentorship, and Youth Empowerment, Networking and Family Counseling.  Additionally, she has vast knowledge in teaching social work, community Development and Development Studies. She has   published  a number of articles  in areas of sustainability practices and public private partnership.
