Mr Leonard K. Kirui is an ICT by profession and currently deployed to support projects dealing with donor funds in the university,on ICT related matters -In this case, Moi- African Cluster Centre (Moi University). He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Moi University, Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology as well as certifications in Linux Essentials and Database Administration. Currently he is pursuing PhD in Information Technology at Kibabii University with his research area being on: Semantic web and Fluid ontologies, Green Computing, where he has published a couple of papers on peer reviewed journals. Kirui has also presented papers at conferences, including the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in the Digital Age. He is an active member of professional bodies: ASSOCIATION OF COMPUTING PRACTITIONERS of KENYA-ACPK(Member no:PM000463), INTERNET SOCIETY OF KENYA and Global(ISOK)-(Member no: 227889). His scope of previous and current deployments within the Moi University setup include: Websites development, customization and maintenance, Database Administration and Management and general ICT support. Kirui also lectures on part-time basis at the School of Information Sciences, department of Information Technology- Moi University, teaching Software Engineering-INS411, Fundamentals of Sotware Engineering-INF 370 & Management of ICT-CMM 213.
