Caroline is a developer who has worked with the Italian Agency Cooperation in Baringo with the main goal being soil conservation, irrigation systems, regenerating farming practices, social and environmental concerns in development for rural community and water harvesting for crop production. I hold a Diploma in Development Studies, a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies and a minor in Public Health from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in the year (2019). I’m currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Development Studies at Moi University and my area of area of research is on “Food Security Status and Livelihood Strategies among Households in an Informal Settlement in Eldoret Town, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya”. I’am currently an intern in Moi African Cluster Centre (MOI -ACC).

Kanda Brian, Kiptoo

Bio
Kanda Brian Kiptoo is an intern at the Moi University African Cluster Centre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moi University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts (Literature) degree from Moi University. Kanda has presented papers at a couple of conferences, including the Inaugural Moi University International Conference on African Studies and the RecAf, Stellenbosch University Seasonal School in South Africa. As a teacher, Kanda continues to mentor thousands of students under the Wings to Fly Programme, which involves inspiring students across the country. Outside academia, Kanda is an astute debater and public speaker who was, among other accomplishments, crowned the best debate adjudicator in the East Africa Schools Debate Championships held in the East African Court at Arusha, Tanzania.
