The Moi University African Cluster Centre (Moi–ACC) is offering 2 student internship positions between January 2022 and December 2023. The internships will be tenable at Moi

University, Eldoret, Kenya.

The internships will be awarded to students from diverse academic disciplines in the social sciences and humanities who are pursuing projects that are aligned to the theoretical and

thematic agendas of the Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence. (These are available at www.africamultiple.uni-bayreuth.de.)

The internships will include a monthly stipend of 250 euros (around Ksh 30,000).

Once in the programme, the interns will be required to give a quarterly progress report on their studies. A lack of significant progress will constitute sufficient grounds to discontinue the

internship. In addition, the interns will be expected to participate in regular ACC events, like seminars and workshops.

▪ Be a bona fide postgraduate student of Moi University who is working towards their

MA degree;

▪ Have passed the Year 1 Semester 1 taught courses;

▪ Be developing a research proposal, or carrying out research, that falls under the general category of the study of Africa.
