Dr Roselyter Riang’a is a lady born in Kenya. She is a Social Sciences Instructor (Teaching and Research Fellow) currently working as a lecturer of Sociology and Community Development at Moi University Kenya. She previously worked in the Banking sector in various departments lately as Customer Care Manger. She has a PhD degree in Medical Sociology on Maternal Nutrition and Health, which she graduated in the year 2018 from the Vrije Universiteit (VU University) Amsterdam in the Netherlands, in their School of Science, Athena institute, Global Health Department. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies and a masters' degree in Sociology both acquired from Moi University Kenya. Her research interest revolves around health and nutrition, food security, gender studies and sustainable development. She is mainly interested in understanding human behaviour and how this relates to their adoption of innovations and to translate that understanding into informed guidance on policies that improve social and health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries
